Maintain facilities
Belle Missouri is located in Central Missouri. We are 45 miles south east of Jefferson City and 30 miles north of Rolla.
We have approximately 1500 residents in Belle, Missouri. We have students who reside in Belle, Bland and Vichy, Missouri.
We are home to the Clorox (Kingsford) Charcoal Plant.
We have a strong and active community that focuses on creating and sustaining growth to improve the community. The Belle Community Betterment Association does great things in our community. Belle Community Betterment Association
The Belle Fair is held in June of each year. It is a great opportunity to meet the community, parents and students who attend Maries Co. R 2. Belle Fair
We have active youth sports associations - baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball and soccer.
Our local businesses take ownership in the success of our students. Various businesses in our community offer student internships, donate to scholarships and help lead our students to being college and career ready.
4th Grade Teacher
I love our district! The students here are nicer than some of the students at the larger schools. I enjoy the four day week, because it gives me the opportunity to spend extra time with my own kids. It also gives me time to take care of appointments and run errands. I am really thankful for the admin and staff here. I am in a lot of teacher groups that discuss childish behavior of staff and/or admin. I am thankful to say that I like everyone that I work with here.
High School Teacher
Most teachers, support staff, and administrators I meet have one question about our district, "what's it like having a four day school week? " My answer is very simple, it's nice but the best thing about our district is our kids. I have been with the Maries RII district for 17 years and these kids never cease to amaze me. They are compassionate, driven, and genuinely respectful. It is easy to build relationships that promote learning with our students which makes the school environment a great place to teach and a great place to learn!
We offer a 4 day work week (Tuesday through Friday. One Monday a month, teachers attend Professional Development. Health Insurance and life insurance are provided to employees. HSA options are available as well as additional options for benefits (dental, vision, short/long term disability, etc.)
