Missouri Outdoors class with Ms. Honse at the Bland Middle School had two guest speakers last week. We had a visit from the Missouri Department of Conservation to discuss the importance of Missouri trapping and basic trapping safety. We also had a visit from Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch where students were able to learn about deer management practices and white tail deer facts. Overall it was a great learning experience for the students and we are so grateful for the visits from the locals to help bring outdoor education to the middle school.
