Mulhall

MulhallMrs. Mulhall, 4th grade teacher at Belle Elementary, was recognized by the University of Missouri S&T Education Department with the Missouri Leader of Tomorrow award.  There are only 13 of these given out each year.  Universities were given the task of honoring their best student teachers.  They were asked to recognize the teachers who give you hope and confidence for the future of the profession.

Missouri Leader of Tomorrow goals:

  • Celebrate individuals who have demonstrated high potential to achieve greatness in education; and

  • Empower awardees through mentoring from an award-winning educator who will encourage them to reach for excellence as they navigate their first year as a teacher.

All Missouri Teacher Leaders of Tomorrow inductees receive the benefits of one-on-one mentorship from Missouri Milken Leaders, who were all previously recognized by the Milken Family Foundation with the National Milken Educator Award for their impressive achievements. Honorees will have a year of coaching and mentorship and will be able to access the full network of the Missouri Milken Educators. The network serves as a rich resource for fellow educators dedicated to excellence in education.

Mrs. Mulhall is in her first year teaching at Belle Elementary. She completed her education degree at S&T. Her students helped her celebrate the award today along with the other fourth grade teachers and students. Students repeatedly shared with the S&T staff how amazing their teacher is - how thankful they are for her every day!

Mrs. Mulhall will be recognized by the State Board of Education at the June Board of Education Meeting.

Please help us congratulate Mrs. Mulhall for this amazing honor! We are thankful you are a Belle Tiger!
