Coach Fisher has worked at BMS for eight years and has worn many hats. During her tenure, Meagan has worked as a soccer coach, athletic director, PE teacher, summer school teacher, served on the PDC committee, was a member of the Leadership Committee, the Student Activity Committee led Drug Free week many times as well as other roles. She is an outstanding PE teacher. She has brought new and exciting sports to her classroom and works diligently to design a well balanced curriculum. She holds students accountable and is a wonderful role model for our student body. She also works beside the classroom teachers, adding aspects to her class for support, which can help boost our scores. She has had four Donors Choose projects funded - materials which better our physical education classes and give students opportunities to use new equipment. She is a bright spot in the halls of our schools. She always has a positive attitude, greets people with a smile and gives us all - including students - her special cookies at Christmas. She makes sure her units in PE are fun and engaging for every student. She is always looking for ways to improve and grow. Her classroom (gym) management is on point. Her clear expectations make it easier for her to hold students accountable in a fair and consistent manner.
Congratulations Mrs. Fisher !
