Denni Butler has been a wonderful asset to our district! She is a wonderful teacher! I have had the opportunity to observe her teaching her third grade students at the beginning of this year. She has been very patient with them and does such a thorough job explaining things to them. Mrs. Butler is very dedicated to her students’ success. She goes above and beyond to ensure all of her students are making progress. She seeks out veteran teachers when she is struggling to reach a student and is always wanting to grow as an educator. She is super creative and has been asked to help with many tasks this year and always knocks the projects out of the park with her ideas and artistic talent. She is always calm and handles all situations with grace. Mrs. Butler may have only been teaching for three years, but she has proven that she was made to be a teacher in those three years. Denni strives to do what’s best for kids. She’s always looking for ways to boost student engagement. Denni also plays a huge part in our Sunshine committee and is willing to help out where ever she’s asked.
This award is given to teachers who are in their first three years of teaching and that are doing amazing things in their classrooms!
