Maries County R-2 School District

Over the next few months - Maries Co. R 2 will be celebrating staff members who started as students in our district. We are so very proud of all of our alumni - but are so thankful that these alumni have come back to serve our community!

Our next alumni recognition is Bryce Gehlert. Bryce is a 2007 graduate from Belle High School. He returned to our district to take over the role of Building Trades instructor. For the past several decades - there has always been a Gehlert leading this program! He leads our Belle Tiger Baseball team as well!

Bryce shared, "It is a privilege walking the same halls where I once was a student. Small town knowing everyone helps."

We are so thankful that Mr. Gehlert returned to lead a new generation in the classroom and on the field!
