The Maries County R-II School District is excited to announce the hiring of Bryce Gehlert as Belle High School's building trades instructor for the 2021-2022 school year.
Mr. Gehlert comes from a family of carpenters. His grandpa was a building trades teacher as well as his uncle here at Maries R-II. Bryce has worked as a carpenter for the last 15 years. He attended East Central College and the University of Central Missouri to obtain his CTTE certificate.
Bryce and his wife, Erin, have one daughter: Elliott (1). When he's not spending time with his family Bryce enjoys golfing, playing guitar in his band, and coaching baseball.
When asked about teaching at Maries R-II Bryce stated, "I am excited about coming back to Belle, my hometown, to follow in my family's footsteps and teach the future generations the importance of learning a trade."
