Ms. Shipley’s 5th grade class partnered with a 5th grade class in PA. Each class were separated into 4 groups, each group had the same set of supplies and were to create a monster. As the monsters were created, students wrote down “how to instructions.” These instructions were then shared with the class in PA and Ms. Shipley’s class received instructions from PA. Students then tried to create the new monsters based on the new instructions.
We then had a Google meet to compare our monsters. It was great fun and we now have new Pen Pals.
