Did you know that by the end of 1st grade these students will be able to write opinion texts that:
a. Introduces a topic or text being studied
b. States an opinion about the topic or text and provides a reason for the opinion
c. Uses some specific words that are related to the topic
d. Follows a sense of order in writing, and
e. Provides some sense of closure.
