Sixth grade is learning how how to make paint like I did and the Renaissance era. You take the yolk of an egg and you mix it with dry pigment. Today, we learn how to make pigment. The next couple of weeks we will learn how to paint plaster which is called Fresco technique. Michelangelo used this technique When painting the Sistine Chapel in the 1400s.
