Happy National School Board Month!

It is School Board Recognition Month! We are so thankful for their dedication and commitment to our students and community!

Tonight's boys basketball game versus Laquey has been CANCELLED due to weather conditions south of I-44 and in Laquey's region. Updated schedule will be announced at a later time.
The 2021 State Track Champions were recognized at the Belle Basketball Tournament. Both athletes brought home a state championship in last springs State Finals! Congratulations Susie Moman and Gracie Schultz.

Please help us in thanking our School Board over the next few days for School Board Recognition Month. We have an amazing school board who work tirelessly to make good decisions for our students, staff and community. Thank you to the President of our School Board - Joey Butler.

**Game Changes**
The girls and boys basketball teams will be traveling to Stoutland to take on the Stoutland Tigers Tuesday, February 1st. Varsity Girls will play first starting at 5:30. JV boys will follow. Varsity Boys will play last.
The Girls' Game at Stoutland is being moved from Friday, Feb. 4th to Tuesday, Feb. 1st
The Boys' Games at Stoutland are being moved from Thursday, Feb. 3rd to Tuesday, February 1st
The GVC Speech Meet scheduled for this Saturday, January 15th at Vienna has been postponed due to weather forecast. Make up date will be announced once set.
The Maries County R-II School District has an opening for a paraprofessional position. If you do not have 60 college credits you can take the paraprofessional assessment to be qualified for the position. Our school district is a four day work week, 7:15-4:15, Tuesday through Friday. The position is a full time position with benefits. Applications can be completed on-line at www.mariesr2.org.
