Maries R2 schools had three kids compete in the Missouri State Show Me Games today in Columbia. Nolie Finnegan (freshman) took 1st in the 3000 meter race and 3rd in the 1500 meter race. Emberlynn Miller (3rd grade) took 9th place in the long jump, Harper Ridenhour (4th grade) took 6th in the long jump. It was awesome watching our small school compete with the big schools in Missouri. Great job girls! Next weekend we have quite a few competing in the Show Me State XC games. Watch for results!

DATE CHANGE! Due to conflicting school events, Freshmen Orientation and the 23-24 Athletic Meeting have been MOVED TO July 24th, 2023. Times will remain the same at 6pm Freshmen Orientation, and 7pm Athletic Meeting. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

The Parent Portal will not update with the 23-24 information until the district moves their student information system to the new year. This should happen around August 1. New buildings, new teachers and new schedules will not be updated until we move to the new school year.

They did it! Over the last 10 days, these kids used clues to identify and explore all 50 U.S. states and found the lost explorer, Penelope Peabody. Along the way, they learned facts about the history, flags, and capitols of each state. They also sampled famous foods and had daily activities.
