Congratulations to our High School Health students that graduated from the Seeking Safety program yesterday. The Seeking Safety program is an evidence-based, present-focused counseling model to help people and students attain safety from trauma and/or substance abuse. Great job ladies and gentlemen!

In conference opener Bland defeated Viburnum 62-12. Cooper Guinn lead the night in scoring with 14 pts. Followed by Hank Willis with 10 points and Kooper Elrod and Benjamin Justice finished with 6 pts a piece. Second conference game will be against Cuba on Monday night at 5pm.

The Lady Bears B Team was a part of the Steelville Shootout last night. Two games were played back-to-back. The first game was against Steelville, unfortunately we were defeated. The second game, the Lady Bears were not accepting defeat, they pulled a win with the final score being 50-21. Zoe Camden led the team with 36 points, Natalie Lansford 7 points, Chloe Jones 4 points, and Makenna Lange with 3 points. Way to go, Lady Bears!
Anastyn Lansford finished 1st last night at the Dixon Match to earn her fourth first place finish this season. Great job and keep it up!

Ms. Roningen's 1st graders: After reading Interrupting Chicken, the students used a variety of materials to make their own books to read to their families. They were able to work in groups.
Softball fought hard last against a good Iberia team, but came up just short. Next game is Senior Night next Tuesday at home versus Vienna.
