Maries Co. R 2 will host two Veterans Assemblies on November 11, 2021. Belle High School will host an assembly at 10:00 in the Belle High School gym. Bland Middle School will host an assembly at 1:00 in the Bland Middle School gym.
Congrats to Senior Melissa Brown who last night won the South Central District Speech competition for FFA Public Speaking in the category of Missouri Institute of Cooperatives. She is one of six students who will compete at State!

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION FROM APPROVED SUBSTITUTE TRAINING
The 20 hours of online training to be a substitute teacher is now available through Frontline Education. A Content Substitute certificate may now be granted to an individual who has successfully completed a minimum of twenty (20) clock hours of department-approved substitute teacher training. Training is now available at the link below. Technical assistance for any issues or questions regarding the online training is provided by Frontline and can be accessed at the link below;

The Maries County R-II School District has an opening for a paraprofessional position for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates must have at least 60 college credit hours or pass the paraprofessional assessment, be able to clear a federal and state background check and obtain a substitute certificate. Wow. What a day. In the State Championship both boys finished in the 18's for time and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! This season is over and I'm a tad emotional about it.

Our BMS Fall Book Fair will begin on Monday, November 8. It will continue through Friday, November 12. The Book Fair will be Open during Parent/Teacher Conferences. Scholastic book fair brochures will be sent home Thursday with Middle School students.
